To provide and maintain our global partner network services, including partner onboarding, student referral tracking, commission tracking, and opportunity matching.

When partners or referred students contact Empire Global Partner Network through Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp Business, we receive data from Meta on your behalf, including: your account name and ID, profile photo, and messages sent to or from our Page or Account.

We act as a Tech Provider to Meta on behalf of you, the partner or student. The legal basis is your consent, granted when you message us via a Meta surface or authorize EGPN via Meta's OAuth flow.

We use this data exclusively to coordinate the partnership or student application you have initiated: routing inquiries to the right partner success manager, sending application status updates, and answering support questions sent via Meta messaging.

We retain Meta-sourced messages for 24 months in active storage plus 36 months in encrypted archive, after which they are permanently deleted, per Meta Platform Terms.

You may revoke our access at any time via Meta account settings, Connected apps, Remove "Team Empire Operations." Removal triggers automatic deletion of your Meta-sourced data within 30 days via our data-deletion callback at https://api.teamempire.org/api/v1/integrations/meta/data-deletion. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Student referral data may be shared with partner institutions and universities as part of the application and enrollment process, with appropriate consent.

We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers are bound by data protection agreements.

We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EGPN, our partners, or others.

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security audits.

We restrict access to personal data to authorized personnel who need it to perform their job functions.

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials confidential.

We retain your personal data for as long as your partner account is active or as needed to provide our services.

When you close your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as commission reconciliation.

Aggregated referral and commission data may be retained in anonymized form for reporting purposes.

Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal obligations.

Portability: You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
